Whow Games runs user acquisition for 800+ slot games
Whow Games builds and runs a portfolio of more than 800 slot games. Before Segwise, deciding which creatives to test sat somewhere between gut feel and data: the team would find the currently most popular games, group them by theme, and pick one or two challengers to test against the reigning winners.
Creative production couldn't keep up with launches, refreshes, and new ad formats
The bottleneck was never ideas, it was production. A new game launch would sometimes land at the same time a top campaign badly needed a creative refresh, and a new channel would ask for some exotic format on top of that. Producing enough assets, fast enough and in enough variety to cover all of it, usually meant something got compromised or delayed.
They use Segwise's AI creative generation to turn winning patterns into new ad concepts
The team is quick to try new tools when there's a clear fit, and Segwise looked like a match for the production gap. They started with Segwise's generation agent, turning their own winning creative patterns into new concepts, and were impressed by the variety and quality of what came back. With a bit of guidance, Segwise got noticeably better at telling their game themes apart, picking up on each game's key concepts, and iterating on them with a fresh take instead of a generic one. Their Magic Mirror slot was the thematic standout, with Segwise working through a number of solid variants on it.
Four ad variants across every channel in a few hours, and more shots at a winning creative
The clearest change is speed. With source assets ready, Whow Games now produces four static variants across all its channels in a few hours, a job that used to take significantly more time and resources. And speed is the whole game here: genuine hits are rare no matter who makes the ad, so the team that gets more concepts in front of an audience gets more chances at finding one.
One of those extra attempts broke a market open. The team had been hunting for a new working concept in France for a while without much luck. A more cartoonish, Segwise-generated take on their Fishin' Frenzy slot ended up performing well there.
And the creatives have earned a permanent seat. Segwise-generated ads are now a solid part of Whow Games' UA mix, especially on Meta and Google Ads, running alongside in-house production rather than replacing it. UA teams don't keep spending on ads that don't pull their weight.
