Segwise vs GetCrux (2026): Which One Fits Your Team?

Choose Segwise if you run mobile UA or gaming spend and want creative analytics tied to MMP data, playable ad tagging and generation, all on every plan from $499/month. Choose GetCrux if you want social listening and publishing to ad networks, and can start at $1,500/month.

Segwise vs GetCrux comparison cover

Segwise is an AI creative analytics and generation platform for UA and creative teams. Both tools tag your ads with AI, both have an AI chat, and both generate new creative. The real difference is the buyer each one is built around and what is locked inside the entry plan. GetCrux calls itself a "Creative OS" and reaches outward: competitors, organic social, publishing. Segwise reaches inward: your own networks, your MMP and what actually drove installs and ROAS.

TL;DR

  • Entry price and spend band. Segwise starts at $499/month for advertisers spending up to $250K/month, with a special 50% discount for startups spending under $50K/month. GetCrux Starter is $1,500/month and covers up to $100K/month in ad spend.

  • MMP data. Segwise connects AppsFlyer, Adjust, Branch, Singular and Kochava on every plan. On GetCrux, MMP and attribution integrations start at Professional ($100K+ monthly spend), so Starter and its Copilot work without post-install data.

  • Mobile gaming. Segwise plays and tags playable ads, generates playables as a managed service, and connects AppLovin, Unity Ads, Mintegral and Moloco. GetCrux does not list playable tagging or generation, and puts AppLovin on Professional.

  • What GetCrux adds. Social listening, publishing to Meta, Google and TikTok, and competitor tracking on a few more networks. All three sit outside your own results. Segwise tracks competitors in the Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn and Google ad libraries, and pushing assets to networks is coming soon.

  • Trying it. Segwise has a 7-day free trial, no credit card. GetCrux lists no free trial; you start with a 30-minute founder call, though it offers a free Scan report.

What is Segwise?

Segwise is built for teams tired of guessing which creative choices move ROAS. It works at the creative element level instead of the campaign level: which hooks, CTAs, characters, visual styles, emotions and audio drive results, and which do not. Its creative tagging watches video, listens to audio, reads on-screen text and plays interactive playables end to end, then maps every tag to ROAS, CPA and IPM.

Segwise homepage: turn your creative data into your next winning ads

That data is what makes the generation side useful. Segwise's Creative Generation Agent lets you draft statics, video (including AI UGC-style ads, AI-generated rather than filmed creators) and playables from your winning patterns, plus storyboards and briefs. Each suggestion comes with a "why this ad" note tied to your data, and your team stays in charge of what ships.

You can use each agent on its own, or do it all in one place by chatting with the Segwise agent: ask how your ads are performing, see what competitors are running, and make new ads from your winners.

Best for: Mobile game studios, app marketers and performance teams running real spend across several networks, who want analytics and generation in one loop grounded in their own MMP and network data.

Key features

  • Unified analytics across 15+ ad networks (Meta, TikTok, Google Ads, Snapchat, AppLovin/Axon, Unity Ads, Mintegral, Moloco and more) and five MMPs (AppsFlyer, Adjust, Branch, Singular, Kochava).

  • Multimodal tagging with 20+ standard tags, custom tags and tags pulled from your file naming, each mapped to performance.

  • Generation across static, video, AI UGC-style and playable formats, with prompt-based and manual editing and exports built to each network's specs.

  • Creative Strategy Agent, an always-on AI chat over your creative, tag, competitor and custom-metric data, including MMP post-install data on every plan.

  • Fatigue tracking with custom thresholds and email plus Slack alerts.

  • Pre-flight Testing that scores a creative against your own winners before you spend, on every plan.

Pricing: Segwise starts at $499/month for advertisers spending up to $250K/month, with a special 50% discount for startups spending under $50K/month. Every feature is on every plan, and there is a 7-day free trial with no credit card.

Limitations: Segwise does not publish ads to networks yet (it exports to each network's specs) and does not do organic social listening. Playables are built as a managed service rather than in a self-serve builder.

What is GetCrux?

GetCrux describes its product as creative insights, competitor intel and ad generation in one Creative OS. It labels every ad with AI, supports custom labels and rule-based tags, and groups visually related ads in a "Creative Bucket" view. Its Copilot answers questions about your performance, and a team of AI agents goes from insight to generated creative.

GetCrux homepage: a Creative OS for launching high performing ads

Its edge is what happens outside your own account. It monitors competitors, mines organic comments, reviews and trends, and publishes finished ads directly to ad networks. GetCrux's pricing FAQ says it runs on accounts with 7 to 8 figure ad spends, and GetCrux's own guide to MMP-connected tools calls it MMP-agnostic, naming AppsFlyer, Singular and Adjust.

Best for: Multi-channel paid media teams and agencies that want competitor tracking, social listening and publishing alongside creative analytics.

Key features

  • AI tagging across video, static, carousel and ad copy, with custom taxonomies, imported label structures and deterministic rules.

  • Copilot AI chat on every plan, with a choice of LLMs (GPT, Claude, Llama, Gemini).

  • Competitor Insights on every plan, plus social listening and "Organic Social Trends".

  • Creative generation of statics, video, carousels, scripts, storyboards, headlines and ad copy, published directly to Meta, Google and TikTok.

  • Fatigue reporting with severity, likely cause and thresholds you set by KPI and channel.

  • Unlimited team members on every plan.

Pricing: Starter is $1,500/month for teams spending up to $100K/month, with Professional ($100K to $1M/month) and Enterprise ($1M+/month) priced on request. There is no free trial or free plan. You start with a 30-minute call with the founders, and a free Scan report is available without ad account access.

Limitations: Starter covers up to 2 ad accounts across Meta, Google, TikTok and LinkedIn, and has no MMP or attribution integrations, so Copilot runs without post-install data until Professional. AppLovin, MCP, Slack integration and Creative Pre-Flight Testing are Professional features. Moloco is named on its creative reporting page, but Unity Ads and Mintegral are not named on any GetCrux page we checked (its pricing page says Enterprise supports any platform), and no playable tagging or generation is listed.

Both prices come from each vendor's own pricing page, checked in October 2026. GetCrux's page does not say whether billing is monthly or annual, so ask on the founder call.

One warning if you are reading older comparisons: GetCrux changed its pricing in 2026. Pages that still quote "$999/month per integration" or a free plan with one Google and one Meta account describe the old pricing page, last captured in April 2026. The live page now shows a $1,500/month Starter and no free plan.

Segwise has the lower published entry price, and its band reaches $250K a month where GetCrux Starter stops at $100K. The catch is that what you buy differs by plan: on GetCrux you only get MMP data, AppLovin, MCP and pre-flight testing once you move to a custom Professional quote. Beyond those bands (above $250K a month on Segwise, above $100K on GetCrux) neither vendor lists a price, so compare quotes rather than list prices.

Who should pick which

The question to ask is where your bottleneck sits. If it is inside your own account (which creatives drive installs, ROAS and fatigue), Segwise is built for that. If it is outside (what rivals run, what customers say, how fast you can publish), GetCrux is.

Pick Segwise if

  • You run mobile UA or gaming and want creative tags joined to MMP data from AppsFlyer, Adjust, Branch, Singular or Kochava, on the entry plan.

  • You run playable ads, or buy on Unity Ads, Mintegral or Moloco alongside AppLovin.

  • You spend under $250K a month and want every feature, including pre-flight testing, without a sales call first.

  • You want to test with your own data before committing: 7 days, no credit card.

When GetCrux may suit you

GetCrux may suit you if social listening and publishing from the same tool matter more than knowing which of your own creatives drive installs and ROAS, and you can start at $1,500 a month.

If you are a DTC brand on Meta and Google spending around $50K to $100K a month, both tools tag, chat and generate. Segwise does it for about a third of GetCrux's Starter price, with MMP data, pre-flight testing and a free trial included, so it is the faster way to find out which of your own hooks drive revenue.

Decision flow: bottleneck inside your account points to Segwise, outside your account points to GetCrux

How to switch from GetCrux to Segwise

Switching analytics tools sounds heavy, but nothing here needs engineering. Most of the work is deciding what to keep.

  1. Check your GetCrux terms first. Its pricing page does not say whether billing is monthly or annual, so confirm your renewal date before you plan the cutover. If you can, run both tools side by side for a few weeks.

  2. Start the Segwise trial. It is 7 days with no credit card, so you can test on real data before cancelling anything.

  3. Connect your ad networks, then your MMP. Setup is no-code and most teams connect in minutes; some networks (AppLovin, Mintegral, Unity, Moloco) ask for an API key from the network's dashboard. Segwise supports Meta, TikTok, Google Ads, AppLovin/Axon, Unity Ads, Mintegral, Moloco and more, plus AppsFlyer, Adjust, Branch, Singular and Kochava. See the integration docs for each guide.

  4. Let the history import. Segwise pulls up to 14 days of history on the trial and up to 3 months on a paid plan, then tags it automatically, so patterns and fatigue signals show up within hours. Anything older than 3 months stays in GetCrux, so save what you need to keep.

  5. Recreate your labels as Segwise tags. Segwise's docs do not describe importing a GetCrux taxonomy, so treat your custom labels as a list to rebuild. Standard tags (20+) are applied automatically, and custom tags can also be pulled from your file naming, which helps if your GetCrux labels followed a naming convention.

  6. Rebuild dashboards and alerts. Set your fatigue thresholds, Slack and email alerts and custom metrics again. Segwise has no limit on reports or dashboards.

  7. Cancel what you no longer use. Once your reports and alerts run in Segwise, check how much your team still uses GetCrux's social listening or publishing before you renew.

Which one to test first

If your decisions hinge on your own performance data across networks and an MMP, test Segwise first: it has the free trial, the lower entry price and every feature on the entry plan. For more options, see our top creative analytics tools roundup and Segwise vs Motion.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does GetCrux connect to MMPs like Segwise does?
Both connect to MMPs, but on different terms. Segwise connects AppsFlyer, Adjust, Branch, Singular and Kochava on every plan, so its Creative Strategy Agent can use post-install data from day one. GetCrux names AppsFlyer, Adjust and Singular, and its MMP and attribution integrations start at the Professional tier, so the Starter plan and its Copilot run without MMP data.
Is Segwise or GetCrux cheaper?
Segwise has the lower entry price and covers a bigger spend band. Segwise starts at $499/month for advertisers spending up to $250K/month, with a 50% discount for startups under $50K/month. GetCrux Starter is $1,500/month and covers up to $100K/month in ad spend, with Professional and Enterprise priced on request. Segwise also includes every feature on every plan, where GetCrux holds back MMP data and pre-flight testing for higher tiers.
Which tool is better for mobile game studios?
Segwise is usually the better fit for mobile game studios. It plays and tags interactive playable ads, generates playables as a managed service, and connects gaming networks like AppLovin, Unity Ads, Mintegral and Moloco, mapping each creative to install and ROAS data. GetCrux does not list playable tagging or generation, names AppLovin (on its Professional plan) and Moloco but not Unity Ads or Mintegral (its Enterprise plan says it supports any platform), and is pitched at multi-channel paid media teams more than at gaming UA.
Can Segwise generate UGC-style video ads?
Yes. Segwise's Creative Generation Agent lets you make AI UGC-style video (AI-generated in a UGC style, not a marketplace of filmed creators), along with statics, other video and interactive playables, all grounded in the patterns that perform in your account. GetCrux generates statics, video, carousels and copy but does not list a dedicated UGC or avatar video generator on its pages. Segwise ties its generation back to element-level performance data, so each round is informed by what already converted.
Does GetCrux track competitors across more networks than Segwise?
Yes. GetCrux's own competitor ad monitoring guide lists Meta, TikTok, Google, YouTube, LinkedIn, X and Snapchat, while its main product page describes competitor tracking on Meta, Google and TikTok, and it adds social listening from organic comments and reviews. Segwise's Competitor Tracking Agent covers the Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn and Google ad libraries. If competitor and audience research across channels is your main need, GetCrux has the broader coverage; if you want to tie creative decisions to your own MMP-backed performance, Segwise is the deeper option on your own account.
How do I switch from GetCrux to Segwise?
Start the 7-day Segwise trial (no credit card), connect your ad networks and then your MMP with no code, which most teams finish in minutes (AppLovin, Mintegral, Unity and Moloco ask for an API key from the network's dashboard). Segwise imports up to 14 days of history on the trial and up to 3 months on a paid plan, and tags it automatically, so patterns and fatigue signals surface within hours. Rebuild your custom labels as Segwise custom tags, since its docs do not describe a GetCrux import, and set your dashboards and alerts again. Keep GetCrux for anything Segwise does not do, such as competitor tracking on YouTube, X and Snapchat, social listening and publishing to ad networks.
What is the difference between Segwise and GetCrux?
Segwise is an AI creative analytics and generation platform for UA and creative teams: it tags creative elements against ROAS and CPA across 15+ ad networks and five MMPs, then generates statics, video (including AI UGC-style ads) and playables from what converts. GetCrux is a "Creative OS" that adds competitor tracking on more platforms, social listening and publishing to ad networks around its analytics and generation. In short, Segwise goes deeper on your own account and MMP data, while GetCrux goes wider across competitors, organic social and publishing. Which is right depends on whether your bottleneck sits inside your own account or outside it.
